1. SUBSCRIPTION: TERMS, COST AND PAYMENT OPTIONS

 

What are the terms of an annual subscription?
An annual subscription allows you to send an unlimited* number of greeting cards  to as many people as you want.  anytime and anywhere**.  Our Ecards allow you to send a  personalize greeting to leave a lasting impression, anytime and anywhere**.

Our “Print-at-Home” cards allow you to download and print a card.  Economical, they are easy to use in a few clicks, in the comfort of your home, office or wherever you choose to be !

In addition, a subscription provides several benefits such as the ability to:

1. Follow the sending and receiving of ecards in real time
2. Create an address book of your contacts
3. Program the sending of ecards to facilitate your life
4. Conveniently manage your personal account.

* Unlimited does not allow you to use our site for commercial purposes, to send unsolicited mail (spam) or to use our site for other unreasonable purposes.

**The recipient must have an adequate Internet service and the necessary equipment to receive and view our Ecards.

How much does an annual subscription cost?
An annual subscription costs CDN $25, plus GST and QST.

How do I subscribe?

To subscribe:

1. Click on “Subscription” at the top of our Web site

2. On the “Cards and Subscription” page, click on “Sign Up Now”

3. On the page that appears, you will see “Subscription” has been added to your cart, click on “View Cart”

4. On the “Cart” page, if you have a Gift card, click on “Click here to enter you code”. If not, update the information already included in the cart, if required, and click on “Update Cart”.  If no updates are required, click on “Proceed to Checkout”

5. On the Checkout page, enter your “Billing details” as required and review “Your order”. Click on “Proceed to PayPal” to continue

What are my payment options?
A PayPal account is required to subscribe to laboutikvirtuelle.com. Either: (1) go to www.paypal.com and create an account or (2) at our checkout point, a page will allow you to create a PayPal account.

 

How you I renew my subscription? 
Your annual subscription will renew automatically the day following its expiration date at the annual subscription cost, for an additional year and every year until cancelled. We keep our subscribers informed of all subscription cost changes. We will send you a “Notification of the up-coming renewal of your subscription”, at least one month prior to the expiration date.

 

When is my subscription due to renew?
Click on “My Account” at the top of our Web site and you will find the information under “My subscriptions”.

 

How many cards may I send during my annual subscription?
You may send an unlimited amount. However, unlimited does not allow you: (1) to use our site for commercial purposes, (2) to send unsolicited mail (spam) or (3) to use our site for other unreasonable purposes.

 

 

2. GIFT CARDS

 

How do I purchase a Gift card?
1.   Click on “Gift Card” at the top of our Web site

2. Enter the required information, choose to send immediately or at a later date and click on “Add to Cart”

3. Click on “View Cart”

4. Update the information already included in the Cart and click on “Update Cart”.  If no updates are required, click on “Proceed to Checkout”

5. On the Checkout page, enter your “Billing details” as required and review “Your order”. Click on “Proceed to PayPal” to continue

 

How do I use a Gift card?
1. Click on “Subscription” at the top of our Web site

2. On the “Cards and Subscription” page, click on “Sign Up Now”

3. On the page that appears, you will see “Subscription” has been added to your cart, click on “View Cart”

4. On the “Cart” page, click on “Click here to enter you code”. Enter the 16-digit code associated with your gift card, with no spaces or symbols.   That’s all.

What are the terms and conditions associated with your Gift cards?
·       You can purchase a Gift card for immediately delivery or for a later scheduled date

·       Our Gift cards are accepted only on the laboutikvirtuelle.com site

·       Our Gift cards are in Canadian dollars

·       Our Gift cards are for a fixed and specified amount

·       A Gift card code is the 16-digit number located at the front of the Gift card

·       Gift cards cannot be redeemed for other gift card purchases

·       Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash

·       Lost Gift cards will be replaced with acceptable proof of purchase

·       Gift cards purchased on the English laboutikvirtuelle.com site will be in English 

 

 

3. PROMOTIONAL COUPONS

 

How do promotional coupons work?
Occasionally we provide promotional coupons with special offers and discounts. These can be offered through email, on social media, or at different events.   Promotional coupons are entered at the checkout page.

Promotional coupons are for one time use only.   We reserve the right to terminate their usage at any moment.   Promotional coupons are only eligible on regular priced items and on items that are not already discounted.

 

 

4. CONFIRMATIONS, NOTIFICATIONS AND REMINDERS

 

How can I ensure that I receive confirmations, notifications and remenders from laboutikvirtuelle.com?
To prevent your messaging system from blocking our emails sent to you, add the following email addresses to the address book associated with your messaging system:

  •   carte@laboutikvirtuelle.com

Once you have added this address, you should receive our emails. If you still do not see our emails in your Inbox, please check your junk mail to make sure that a message is not automatically being routed there.

 

 

 

5. ECARDS:  SENDING, MESSAGE, PROGRAMMING AND VIEWING

 

How do I choose and send an Ecard?
1. Click on “Cards” at the top of our Web site

2. Click on “ECards”

3. Choose a category 

4. Click on an Ecard to preview it

5. Click on the center of the image of the Ecard, click on the black arrow on the La Boutik Virtuelle logo to start the animation

6. If you wish to send the card, scroll down to the “Send this card!” and enter the required information and click on “Send!”

7. If you wish to choose another card, return to the category, or choose another category.

 

Message preparation, what do I need to know?
The inside of the card allows for a message up to 14 lines of text or 175 words.

You can prepare your text in Microsoft Word and copy/paste it into the message box in the “Send this Card!” section.  This allows you to spellcheck in Word if you so desire.

 

Will I receive an “Ecard Greeting Delivery Confirmation” after sending an ecard?
You will receive an “Ecard Greeting Delivery Confirmation” for each ecard sent.

 

Will I receive an “Ecard Greeting Pickup Notification”?
Yes, and the “Ecard Greeting Pickup Notification” lets you know exactly at what time your card was viewed by your recipient.

 

How to send a pre-scheduled ecard?
1. Select the ecard you would like to send

2. Scroll down the page to the “Send this card!” and enter the required information concerning the intended recipient and add your personalized message

3. Click on the “Sending date” field, use the calendar to identify the date or enter the date per the required format. The calendar has an arrow located at the top right to navigate to future months.

4. Click the “Send!” button.

 

Can I change or cancel an ecard?
Ecards sent for immediate delivery cannot be canceled or retrieved to be edited. If your ecard was scheduled for a future delivery date, you may edit or cancel an ecard up to 24 hours before the delivery date.

To modify or cancel an ecard, you must contact us.  Click on “Contact Us” at the top of our Web site.  Call us or enter the information regarding which card you want to modify or cancel in the email contact form.  We will cancel the card.  You can either (1) resend the ecard with your desired modifications, (2) send a new card or (3) do nothing.

 

 Why didn’t the person I sent my ecard to receive it?
There are several reasons why your recipient may not have received your ecard.

The first thing you should do is check that their email address was entered correctly. If there was an error with the recipient’s email address, then you will need to resend the ecard with the correct address.

It is common for spam filters to block some notification by default. The notification will then be routed to their spam folder or, in some cases, deleted outright. If the email is deleted outright then the recipient will not see any record of the ecard, even if they check their spam folder.

By default, we send you an “Ecard Greeting Pick up Notification” which allows you to monitor the reception of your ecards sent.   We will also send you a “Notification of Ecard Greeting not viewed” 48 hours after the sending date of the ecard.  This will allow you to detect and correct potential spam issues.   You can write to your recipient(s) and suggest that they add the following email addresses to the address book associated with their messaging system:

Why won’t my ecard load?
If you are having problems viewing your ecard, the problem may be temporary. Please wait a few minutes and try again. If you’re still unable to view the ecard, the following information may help.

·       Browser Cache

Your browser’s cache stores information about the web pages you’ve visited.  Clearing your cache regularly frees up disk space on your computer, increases the computer’s performance and rids your computer of any corrupted files.  Follow the instructions in your browser’s Help section for clearing the cache. Once the cache has been cleared, close your browser window, and re-open it.

·       Corporate Firewall

If you are at work, your company’s security system may prevent you from viewing our ecards.  Check with your company’s network administrator to find out if this is the case.

 

Why can’t I send an ecard?
Ideally, to eliminate from the outset a potential source of problems is to have an updated browser in its most recent version, be it Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.  If the problem persists, the solution is often to clear the cache and then refresh the page.

 

 

6. “Print-at-Home cards”

 

How do I choose and send a “Print-at-Home” card?
Our “Print-at-Home” cards are:

1. Included free of charge with your subscription

2. Simple to make

3. Perfect for saving time

4. Economical:  roughly $1.50 per card versus $4.00 on average for a store-bought card

 

Here’s how to order a card:

1. Log In to your account via “My Account” at the top of the La Boutik Virtuelle home page

2. Click on “Cards” to view and choose a card.  

3. Click on  “Print-at-Home cards”. A Print-at-home card is labeled “Free” under the image of the card.  To choose a card, click on the “Shopping cart” image situated at the right of the “Free” label.  A check mark will appear.

4. The “Shopping Cart” tab will appear, update the information if necessary, otherwise, click on “Proceed to Checkout”.  The total cart should be $0.00.

5. The “Checkout” page will open, verify the billing details, make sure that the billing address is your email address since the PDF file of the chosen card will be sent to your email address.

6. Click on “Place an order”.  A black ball will spin while the card is uploading.  A new page will open which will show you the details of your order.

7. You will receive an email from La Boutik Virtuelle in which you will find the link to open your card.  You will use this link to print the card at your home.

8. You need to purchase greeting card paper set.   It should contain print instructions and links to free and easy-to-use software.

7. ADDRESS BOOK – CONTACT LIST

 

 What is “My Contact List”?
The “My Contact List” functionality allows you to quickly send an ecard to a person. It stores first name, last name, email address and date of birth. To use this service, click on “My Account” at the top of our Web site, scroll down to “My Contact List”.

 

How do I add people to “My Contact List”?
Click on “My Account” located at the top of our website. Scroll down to “Add New Contact” and enter the information requested.

 

 

8. MY ACCOUNT

 

How do I change my password?
Click on “My Account” at the top of our Web site. Then click on “Edit your password and account details”, situated at the end of the introductory sentence that starts with “Hello”. A new page “Edit Account Details” will appear. Follow the instructions. Click on “Save changes”.

 

What to do if I forgot my password?
When you log in to our Web site, you must enter your email address and your password. If you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgotten password” and we will send you a link to choose a new password.

 

How can I change my email address?
Click on “My Account” at the top of our Web site. Then click on “Edit your password and account details”, situated at the end of the introductory sentence that starts with “Hello”. A new page “Edit Account Details” will appear. Follow the instructions. Click on “Save changes”.

 

How do I modify my account information?
Click the “My Account” at the top of our website.  You can use the “My Account” page to change your email address, password, and personal information, view your subscriptions, your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing information and your contact list.

How can I contact you or send you a message?
Click on « Contact Us » at the top of our Web site. You can reach us by email by filing out the “Contact Us” form and clicking on “Send” or by phone at 1-438-887-7966, from 8 am to 5 pm, EST.

 

 

10. MOBILE DEVICES AND TABLETS

 

Are your ecards compatible with smart phones and tablets?
Yes, your recipients can view their cards on their smartphones and tablets.

 

 

11. DOWNLOADING THE ECARDS

 

Can I download your ecards to my computer?
We do not offer downloaded version of our ecards. Our ecards must by viewed with a Web browser to work properly.

 

 

12. PROTECTION OF PERSONNAL INFORMATION

 

What measures have you implemented to protect my personal information?

13. COOKIES

 

When I sign in, I receive a message regarding cookies, what does this mean?
This message appears when the browser you’re using isn’t set to accept cookies. To change the browser’s cookie settings, follow the instructions below step by step for the internet browser you are using. You may also be using a third-party program on your computer that is blocking cookies; you may have to check with the software maker of any security software you use if none of these steps resolves the problem for you.
